Studies in Role and Reference Grammar brings together a selection of the most recent studies developed within the framework of Role and Refrence Grammar and covering a wide range of gramatical issues. Phonomena such as the realization of argument structure, the aspectual properties of predicates, and their combination in complex structures are discussed from a typological perspective, and particular chapters are devoted to studies on Ingush, Japanese, German, English, Modern Irish, Kabardian, Tepehua, Zapotec and the Uto-Aztecan family. The final chapters are focused on different aspects of the semantics, morpho-syntax and information structure of Spanish. The research presented in this collection encompasses advances on the study of clause-internal syntax, semantics and information-structure.
